Our story

A decade breaking barriers for the Deaf community

Founded in 2014 by a woman-owned organization. One mission: an ASL-first world where Deaf adults are never held back by inaccessible education or employment.

Inclusivity

Every program we build starts with the Deaf learner at the center. Accessible by design, not as an afterthought - from our first course to every SLED contract we pursue.

We were among the first to combine ASL-first pedagogy with AI-powered personalization - bringing a Deaf learner's own language into digital education at scale.

Circle of Care Academy began as an advocacy project connecting Deaf learners and families with education resources, child welfare support, and community. What started as local outreach has grown into a global ASL platform reaching learners across the United States and beyond, with a strategic focus on government procurement in the SLED market.

Today our work spans ASL instruction, Deaf community outreach, SLED consulting, and child welfare advocacy. Our six learning tracks - digital literacy, AI skills, job readiness, English literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship - are built on over a decade of firsthand experience serving Deaf adults who deserve a world that signs back.
